CALL TO ACTION I am recovering from Top Surgery the whole month of October, and I won't be able to reach above my shoulders or lift anything heavier than 5 lbs! If you'd like to help you have come to the right place, I want to thank you in advance. I am so grateful to my community <3 From September 30th - October 11th, I will need on-site support, and meals until October 18th. To provide these, please sign-up on the calendar below. Other assistance can be given directly using options on the right side of the page at ‘Donate via Venmo’ button or below the Wishlist, to send gift cards for use on groceries, medical supplies, incidentals etc that help me stay focused directly on recuperating. ON-SITE SUPPORT (**There is no obligation to spend money for this part!**) For on-site support, from 10am-6pm, I will need someone to be around/at my house during the day. You can work from my dining table, watch movies with me, or hang out in my beautiful backyard. I'll need help with dumb stuff; - Filling water - Plating food - Taking out trash - Making my bed - Opening/closing windows - Loading/unloading dishwasher - Potentially helping me empty my drains?? MEAL IDEAS FOR LUNCH & DINNER (I HAVE NO DIETARY RESTRICTIONS) For my lunch and dinner meals to heal 2 portions are preferred, but for 4+ portions kindly claim one meal the following day for leftovers. Below you'll find what are my go-to foods for guidance on how best to offer a home cooked meal or arrange for delivery. Food drop-off notes: "Look for a red star to the right side of the driveway, under which please leave food inside the cooler." YES Foods: Fresh cut Fruit & green Vegetables, Whole grains or sourdough bread, cheese, cilantro, any kind of noodle, Ranch on salad, Rice, Fried Tofu, Broccoli, Arugula, Cucumber, Crunchy/Crispy texture, Medium Spice level, Flour Tortillas, Avocado, Black Beans, Kimchi, Rice Krispy Treats, soft cookies NO Foods: Mustard, Pickles including relish, Ketchup, Raw Sliced Onions (On Burger Only), Eggplant, Fish Meal Prompts: Healthy probiotic and prebiotic, plant and protein rich meals. Tacos, Pasta, Crunchy chopped Salads, Ramen, Pho, Indian, Thai, Wraps, Mediterranean, Lasagna, Chia Pudding, Charcuterie items, Pupusas (Pork/Bean/Cheese with Curtido Pickled Slaw), Veggie pizza, Leftover friendly stuff, I'll need protein, iron, zinc and vitamins A and C Restaurants and what dishes I often order; Sticky Rice: Yellow Curry Tofu, Pad Thai Tofu, Summer Rolls Tofu Honey Hi: Miso Bowl, Beans and Greens, Breakfast Bowl Sunset Báhn Mì: Classic Báhn Mì Sandwich Sweetgreen: Crispy Chicken bowl California Chicken Cafe: Broccoli Pasta Salad, California Chicken Salad, Caesar Wrap Silver Lake Ramen: Spicy Tonkotsu El Pollo Loco: Chicken Avocado, Chicken Family Meal Flour Tortillas Burrito King: Carne Asada Burrito Guisados: Tamales, Tinga Tacos, Steak, Frijoles, Sampler Platter, Quesadilla The Habit: Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato only Tribal Cafe: Buddha Bowls


Special Notes

Please no sick or symptomatic visitors. If I get Covid, it will really set back my recovery. Please either rapid test or mask if you're going to be hanging out inside for awhile. I will have both! If you're coming to give on-site support, I suggest bringing headphones, a book, or something to do. I may be napping or want to do quiet parallel play/work. If you're just dropping off food, I can't promise to be super sociable and be able to do a proper catch up. Thanks for understanding!
