Chris's Fight Against Leukemia

Hewitt, TX

Story

On March 8th, Chris was diagnosed with APL Leukemia. Just one day later, on March 9th, he began chemotherapy and started the journey toward recovery. Chris will be staying in the hospital for about a month while doctors closely monitor his treatment and help manage any side effects. This stage of treatment is very important, and his medical team is working hard to make sure he receives the best care possible every step of the way. The medications and chemotherapy have brought some challenging side effects so far, including nausea, severe headaches, and overall weakness. Even with these difficulties, Chris is staying strong and focused on getting better each day. His strength, determination, and positive attitude continue to inspire everyone around him. We created this page to help keep family and friends updated on Chris’s journey so everyone can follow along, stay informed, and continue cheering him on. The support, prayers, and encouragement from loved ones mean more than words can express. Chris is taking this fight one day at a time, and with the strength of those around him, we remain hopeful and confident in the road ahead.
