Our friend Audrey was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer and will be having hysterectomy surgery on October 15th. It is an outpatient surgery and she will know after the surgery what additional treatment she will need, if any. Audrey is strong, healthy, determined, and stubborn and will no doubt recover quickly. However, she will need to take it easy for several weeks so we're hoping to support her by dropping off meals through the end of October and possibly longer. We may be adding additional requests (e.g. shopping, running errands, etc) to help her out in those first couple of weeks after her surgery so stay tuned. Audrey welcomes texts and calls of support, but may not always be able to pick up or return them right away.
