We lost most of our things, including our home, very unexpectedly and suddenly back in the beginning of June to people I thought were our family and trustworthy. I am disabled and am in the middle of waiting for ssi/ssdi, so I have no active income. I have an elderly 85 lb dog and 2 kitties who are used to living mostly inside and have been trying to keep us safe while navigating through resources. Unfortunately I have found that many resources are very thin around here and are also not as accessible to me and I have found myself at the end of many resources I had, basic life needs I had that have now now been depleted, and also my the physical ability to keep going like this. My poor furbabies have also been going through a lot, in and out of hotels in the beginning and then the last month and a half we have been living in my friend’s backyard.
