I’m a hard-working mother of five currently in the hospital receiving care for epilepsy. I’ve lived with epilepsy for the past 10 years, including experiencing seizures during pregnancy, but this time is different—I’m not pregnant, just older, and my body is responding differently than before. This unexpected hospitalization has been physically and emotionally exhausting, especially with children at home and the holidays approaching. While I focus on stabilizing my health and recovery, my biggest concern is making sure my kids are cared for and that our household stays afloat during this time. We are incredibly grateful for any kindness, support, or prayers. Even small gestures mean more than words can express. ⸻ 🤍 Ways You Can Help Right Now If you’re able and willing, the most helpful forms of support at this time are: • Groceries for our family • Meals or meal support (home-cooked, delivery, or gift cards) • Christmas support for the kids, as this season looks very different than expected Please know that there is absolutely no obligation—your thoughtfulness alone is deeply appreciated.
