Story
In mid January 2024 we found out that Jes has Stage One Breast Cancer. On 2.20.24 she will be undergoing a lumpectomy with a local surgeon in Wilmington, NC to take out the tumor & potentially some of the surrounding lymph nodes. After her out-patient surgery there will be a recovery period followed by a "Radcation" where she will receive Radiation treatment; specifics are still pending. Some of the recovery process is also still unknown but we appreciate all the kind words, support, and love being shown to her as she battles and beats Cancer. We know that she is surrounded by the best family and friends and she's lucky to have such a strong support system as she goes through this period.
