After three weeks in the hospital due to heart-related complications, John is finally coming home today (5/15/25)! He lost 75 pounds in fluid and they placed 3 stents in his heart and he will probably require more stents and possible pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) . Someone recently asked if we had a meal train, and I had to Google it—LOL! I'm still figuring this out, but any help would mean the world to us. I don’t know how to ask for help and John would be embarrassed to ask for anything. 🙁 Since most people don’t live nearby, gift cards would be a great option, I think? We don’t need much, just help with some grocery delivery, since I’m working a lot and maybe a few meals as he gets back on his feet. It’s been a tough few weeks. The back-and-forth trips to LA weren’t daily, but they definitely took a toll on my PTO & bank account. (Gas, parking, eating out) Thank you so much for your kindness and support! ♥️🙏🏻😊
