On January 29, 2026, Donna Jo and Derek welcomed their little blessing through an emergency C-section. Cooper Alexander Wallis arrived at just 26 weeks and 5 days — nearly 100 days early. He weighed 2 pounds, 2 ounces at birth and is already working incredibly hard to grow stronger each day. He will remain in the NICU as he continues developing and reaches important milestones leading up to his original due date. Shortly after Cooper’s birth, Donna Jo developed an infection and required emergency surgery. She now faces a long recovery and could truly use continued love, encouragement, and support during this difficult time. Derek has been an absolute rock through it all, carrying so much for his family while supporting both Donna Jo and baby Cooper.
