Hello my name is Jessica Underwood. I created this page to try to help with the cost of medical trips and school and every day needs for my family. We are really going through a hard time right now and just trying to get some finical support. First of all I am a mom of 2 beautiful amazing loving boys who both have medical problems. My oldest, Maddox who is 6 was born with NF1 (which is where he is pron to tumors) and with that he has tumors the size on sweet peas on his brain and on top of that his doctor's are pretty sure he has Autism, ADD, or ADHD or all of them. We have to go to Children's of Alabama every 2 weeks for him for scans or therapy and then for testing in August. That is almost 3hrs away every 2 weeks. And my youngest, Xavier who is 4 is autistic. I am married to my amazing husband Jerald who unfortunately also has medical problems. My husband also has NF1 and NF2 because of genetics and he has tumors all over from his brain to the outside of his body most small ones that doesn't cause him pain or anything. But back in April of this year my husband had got to hurts so bad in his back he could barely move so I made him go to the doctor that is when we found out he has 3 deteriorating disc and she also seen some of his back and sent us to University of Alabama there we found out my husband has a tumor the size of a softball pushing against his spinal cord and spine that is causing him to go weak and numb in his right side. We go back Oct 30th for more scans and to see what we can do about it because they said they can't do surgery because it would paralysis his whole right side. So with my husband unable to work right now and me not able to work because I have to take care of him and our 2 kids it has made our finances hard. I receive a disability check on my son but disability keeps denying my husband which we have had to get a lawyer to fight it. So with that said we have gotten behind on bills and trying to get caught back up plus both boys start school this year and I still have to order my youngest birth certificate and paying for gas and food and bills for every day and to help get us to and from doctors appointments have been really hard on us. I hate asking for help and I am always the one who tried to help others but with everything hitting us all at once has been really hard on us and plus where we live at is not the best situation. We live in a 2 story apartment and it is getting so hard for my husband to go up and down our steps. So at this point anything would truly help us. I try to drive for door dash and Spark just to make end meets but I still don't make enough to help with everything. But that is a little of our story.
