My name is Michelle Millar. I am close friends with several members of the Zak family. This company is directly related to the Food Train site many of you are familiar with but allows a different approach to providing meals. With their permission we are asking for your support for the Zak family as they navigate the heartbreaking loss of their father who touched countless lives with his faith, kindness, knowledge and passion for the Huskers. As a large and deeply connected family, they now face the difficult task of adjusting to a new normal. Many have asked how they can help. The family has asked that in place of a GoFundMe, we organize gift card donations for meals. This will allow the family to focus on healing without the added stress of planning, shopping, or cooking during this incredibly difficult time. Because this site is limited on gift card options for meals I will be accepting monetary donations and will then purchase gift cards to various restaurants. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in supporting them and showing the love that so many feel for their family.
