I don't even know how to say this or explain the details without my head going in circles but I'll do my best. Today at about 2:10pm Josh was in a horrible car accident and had to be life flighted to Tacoma general hospital. Thank you Life360 for notifying me about his wreck before anyone else was able too. That notification was how I was able to be on the road rushing to him before police, life flight or any nurses were able to tell me what was going on and where he was being taken. After getting to Tacoma general I was able to get more details about how severe the situation was, but most importantly I was able to put my own eys on him. Joshua has a complete fracture of his right femur, a very nasty hematoma on his head and in general is really banged up. But by the grace of god he is alive and will be ok. His road to recovery is going to be pretty long, but they have high hopes that he will recover fully with time. After seeing the crash sight, I was expecting the absolute worst. When I say he's lucky to be here I mean it. His ranger is completely totaled and we will deal with that later. Being here by his side has brought us into a whole new level of our relationship. Never in your life do you expect to be holding on to your loved on after you feared the absolute worst. Watching the doctors sedate him, reset his leg, take bedside xrays along with all the ivs, shots and medical equipment, I felt like I was in a horror movie. I have felt fear many times in my life but nothing like I did today. I can't thank god enough for protecting him. I know we've been through so much together but this man is my life. He is our rock. And god knows that the kids and I need him, and he blessed us with being able to keep him. Today could of been so much worse. But right now even as im crying next to him and writing this, I cant help but feel extremely grateful and lucky. Thank you Jessica for instantly taking the kids when i got that notification and for our parents, family and friends for all you've done in the process of this whole situation. Today i was able to experience true love from every single one of you. Words cant explain how blessed our family really is. So now im going to be by joshs side while he sleeps and wait with him before he goes into surgery tomorrow morning. Thank you all for the support but please keep praying. Hes not fully out of the woods yet and we'd greatly appreciate them. ❤️ Bailey.
