Last Labor Day, Jack was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer after undergoing surgery to have his appendix removed. Since then, the cancer has spread to his liver, and he has courageously undergone chemotherapy treatments every other week. Recently, Jack received the heartbreaking news that the chemotherapy is no longer effective, and multiple tumors have continued to spread throughout his liver. Last week, he began a new, more aggressive treatment regimen, receiving treatment three times a week in hopes of slowing the progression of the disease. Yesterday, Jack was admitted to the hospital after his bilirubin levels became dangerously elevated. Today, he is undergoing an MRI to determine whether doctors can place a stent to help improve the function of his liver and lower those levels. During this incredibly difficult time, Jack and his family need all the love, prayers, and support they can receive. To help ease some of the daily burdens they are facing, we are starting a meal train for Jack and his family. Any meal, donation, or act of kindness—no matter how small—will make a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support for Jack and his family. Your kindness means more than words can express.
Special notes to remember... Jacks wife and daughter require gluten free items. Jack does not have any limitations at this time.
