Over the past few days, Michelle and her family have been through an unexpected and frightening medical emergency. What began as a sudden, severe headache quickly turned into a hospital stay, where doctors discovered bleeding in her brain caused by a tumor. Because of prior health complications, surgery carried serious risks, and the waiting and uncertainty were incredibly heavy for everyone who loves her. Michelle ultimately underwent emergency brain surgery, which doctors report went very well. They were able to remove nearly all — if not all — of the tumor, and they are hopeful she will make a full recovery. In true Michelle fashion, even in the midst of all this, her strength and spirit have shone through. Her doctors and nurses have been amazed by her progress, and her family has been so grateful to see her alert, communicating, and beginning to heal. Michelle is now preparing to leave the hospital and return home, where the real work of recovery will begin. She will need time, rest, and support as her body heals from major surgery. Her husband and their children are adjusting to a new routine, balancing the holidays, school, work, and caring for Michelle during this recovery period. This meal train is a way for friends and community to come alongside the family in a practical, loving way. Providing meals helps ease the daily load so they can focus on healing, rest, and simply being together. It’s one small way to show Michelle and her family that they are surrounded by care and encouragement as they move forward. Thank you for supporting this incredible family during this time. Every meal, message, and act of kindness means more than words can express.
