Fight For Bernfield

Monticello, IN

W
Story

Mrs. Bernfield is an amazing woman who has touched so many lives in our community. She is an amazing wife, mother, friend, nurse, teacher, pastor, and the list just goes on. She has shaped the lives of so many youth in our community thru her passion of sharing her experience, knowledge, and training in the medical field and leading them into receiving their CNA. Recently Mrs. Bernfield was not feeling well, went to the doctor, and unfortunately found out some devastating news. She was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. With this, she has risen above, stayed strong, remained positive, and is fighting her fight in such an amazing way. This page was created to have a common location to support her with her current and upcoming transportations to radiation, doctor appointments, medication, as well as any other needs that may arise from food needs, lawn care, snow removal, house cleaning, etc. We will attempt to keep this updated with her journey as well as any new requests that may come. While we support any means that you are willing to offer, we are trying to make it as beneficial as possible and avoid fees using certain sites. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have.

Special Notes

At this time Mrs. Bernfield is not up for many meals. Although that may change along the way we are currently not asking for meals. We would love to help obtain some gift cards that she and her family could utilize to help with the transportation costs to and from her treatments. *Gift cards that have been purchased can be dropped off to Courtney Dyer at the Monticello Fire Department - 911 W. South Street M-F 8-4, and they will be given directly to Laura. If you aren't able to do that, we are more than willing to come and pick up direct from you. Please feel free to call or text 574-808-8608 or 765-412-7245, and we will make direct arrangements.
