My name is Elizabeth Jones, and I never imagined I would have to ask for financial help during what should be one of the happiest times of my life. I’m currently pregnant, and because of complications with my pregnancy, my doctor has told me that I need to be on bed rest. Right now, resting isn’t optional—it’s necessary for me and my baby. I need to follow my doctor’s instructions and avoid working until it is safe for me to do so. The hardest part is that being unable to work has also meant losing the income I depend on for everyday expenses. My rent, utilities, groceries, medical costs, and other bills don’t stop simply because I need to stay home and rest. I’m doing everything I can to get through this period responsibly, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t manage these expenses alone. I’m asking for help so I can keep a roof over my head, stay current on essential bills, and focus on following my doctor’s instructions instead of constantly worrying about what bill will come next. Every donation, no matter the amount, would directly help me cover these necessary expenses while I’m unable to work. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing my fundraiser with someone else would mean a lot to me. This is not easy for me to ask. I’ve always wanted to handle my own responsibilities, but right now, accepting help is what I need to do for myself and my baby.
Thank you for helping me during a time when I feel especially vulnerable and uncertain. Your donation is more than money to me—it means one less bill to worry about, one less night wondering how I’ll make rent, and a little more peace of mind while I concentrate on keeping myself and my baby safe. I will never take your kindness for granted. Thank you for standing beside us when we truly need it.
