First and foremost, Tommy is an amazing husband and father to three beautiful kids. For those that don't know our journey, we were told back in September 2024 that he had Lymphoma. Through the power of prayer, some amazing doctors, and lots of testing, we found out it was a false diagnosis. He just needed his severely infected tonsils removed. Then, in November, Tommy broke his dominent arm in several pieces. He has been diagnosed with CRPS as a result of the injury and is currently receiving medical treatment to get it under control so that he can have the next surgery he needs to finish repairing all the damage still in his arm. This has come with several unsuccessful medications and a few trips to the ER for allergic reactions to some of those medications and treatments. Most recently, Tommy has suddenly lost most of his vision, rendering any form of work now impossible. Since this is so new, we are hoping that this is temporary and can be reversed. However, the doctor is not sure if it is a possibility. We follow up with her in a month. We have been relying on mainly my income since September. I simply do not make enough money to support all of us. I have gone into debt as far as I can to try to make ends meet. We are a very private family, so this is killing both of us to even admit any of this publicly. At the end of the day, we know God has a plan. While I have no idea what it is, we continue to pray. All we ask is for all of the positive thoughts and prayers. If you are able to donate in anyway, we are more than appreciative. We will also do whatever we can to pay it back and/or pay it forward. We have always been the people that help others, so it's incredibly hard to be the one asking for help.
If you are interested in helping with meals, we can't do anything spicy. Some of our staples are chicken, turkey and ham lunch meat, cheese, grapes, canteloupe, watermelon, and strawberries.
