June 18, 2025, The day the devil realized he picked a fight with the wrong person! As many of you know Lisa was diagnosed with "Extraovarian Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma". She has been undergoing Chemo therapy and dealing with many of the side effects from the cancer itself and the treatment as well. She has been hospitalized twice due to complications and has had many Doctors visits to get these issues under control prior to her having surgery. We are thrilled to say that the Chemo has been doing its job and the meds are working! They are now able to do the surgery as this is the next step in her kicking cancers ass! The Chemo has taken its toll, especially this last round. She has been exhausted and still shows up and is there for and worries about everyone else. Lisa is NOT one to EVER ask for anything, she is the first to step up for others and the last to ask for anything for herself. So I am asking for her. To make things as easy as possible during her recovery we have set up this meal train. We know that Gift cards and donations obviously provide the most flexibility for all, However, if you prefer to make and/or have something delivered and you need help getting it to them or would like someone to pick something up for you don't hesitate to reach out to Laura 513-432-2465. I know that Lisa, Kerry and the girls, Carter, Carson and Carlee and their family are so appreciative for all the support and love that has been shown/given to them during this trying time. She is the definition of WARRIOR!! There is no doubt she's got this! Lets help take a small load of the day to day stress off of them and let her rest, heal and finish KICKING cancers ASS! Please continue to keep them all in your thoughts and prayers as they move forward in this journey. UPDATE: Lisa will be undergoing an extensive abdominal surgery November 3rd, as the next step in kicking Peritoneal cancers ass! Her Goal is to hopefully gain enough strength and heal enough to be able to fix her traditional Thanksgiving meal for her family.
