Support for the Rose Family

Story

In Loving Memory of Shandis DeeAnn Rose Born May 21, 1969 Today we celebrate the life of Shandis DeeAnn Rose a devoted mother, unforgettable teacher, and a woman whose presence could light up any room she walked into. For nearly 30 years, Shandis poured her heart into teaching. She shaped young minds, built confidence in struggling students, and left a lasting imprint on generations of families. She didn’t just teach lessons she taught real life. She made her classroom feel like home. And oh, was she one of a kind. Shandis was funny, bold, and never shy about giving you a piece of her mind especially if she loved you. Her honesty came wrapped in heart. She believed in people fiercely and wasn’t afraid to say exactly what needed to be said. She was always available for a hug. A true hugger who never met a stranger, she welcomed everyone with open arms and that unmistakable country twang that made everything she said feel warmer. If you were having a hard day, she’d pull you in close without hesitation. You could often find her barefoot, claiming a couch like it was her own, getting comfortable anywhere she pleased. She had a way of making herself at home and making everyone else feel at home too. And if you ever stepped into her classroom, chances are you left with something whether you asked for it or not. A random classroom decoration, a book, supplies, or something she decided you “needed.” She gave freely, generously, and often unexpectedly because that’s just who she was. Above all, she was a loving and proud mother to AJ (28), Amelia (20), and Walker (19). They are completely devastated by this loss. Her love for her children was fierce, loud, protective, and unconditional. They were her greatest pride and her deepest joy. Shandis leaves behind a legacy of laughter, honesty, warmth, barefoot comfort, surprise gifts, tight hugs, and countless lives changed for the better. She never met a stranger and none of us will ever forget her. Rest peacefully, Shandis. Your voice, your love, and your light will live on in all of us. 🤍
