We have been covering Sidney and his wife, Tamera, in prayer as her health continued to decline and doctors searched for answers. Recently, they received difficult news. Tamera has been diagnosed with Corticobasal Syndrome (CBS), a rare and terminal neurodegenerative disease that affects movement, speech, and memory. According to her medical team, her condition has progressed more rapidly than expected, and she may have only 12 to 18 months remaining. As a result, doctors are recommending home health care, in-home assistance, and palliative care to support her ongoing needs. In a short period of time, she has gone from walking with a walker and managing basic daily tasks to requiring a wheelchair and significant assistance. Despite this heartbreaking prognosis, Sidney remains steadfast in his faith, trusting that God is still able to work and bring healing according to His will. As Sidney and Tamera navigate this difficult season, we invite you to come alongside them through prayer and practical support. One tangible way to help is by providing meals to ease some of their daily responsibilities and remind them they are surrounded by a loving community. Thank you for supporting and encouraging the family during this time.
