After decades of pain and struggle, our incredible mother passed. She had expressed a few wishes.... 1. She chose her exit music. For years she made it known, at the time of my passing I'd like to make my stage exit to Highland Cathedral by Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. This wish was granted. 2. "You have to make sure your Dad eats." Leave it to Gay to be concerned a loved one is fed. The unfortunate part, I (Betsy) am truly a lousy cook. Jessica is incredible at it, but it's a pretty tall order for 1 person to manage. Since my Mom passed I see why she was concerned. He doesn't eat much on his own. My Mom was his purpose and he is completely lost right now. Eventually he'll find himself. Until then, I turn to past and present friends/family. If able to assist with signing up to bring a meal or gift a meal card, I will see to it this wish is fulfilled.
