Jen has had a really tough six months undergoing chemo, but she’s finally nearing the end of that phase and preparing for surgery and recovery. Her appetite has been limited, but we’re hopeful it will improve day by day, and we’d love to give her something comforting to look forward to as she heals. Because Jen and Dave live farther out in Smithfield (about a 35-45 minute drive from downtown), we completely understand that daily drop‑offs may not be convenient for everyone. If you’d prefer not to make the drive, you are more than welcome to prepare a frozen or make‑ahead meal and give it to Karen or Cassidy a week in advance. We’ll coordinate weekly deliveries to Jen’s home, so she continues receiving steady support.
Jen and Dave are grateful for any and all help. A few notes to keep in mind: * Frozen or batch meals are absolutely fine. * She can reheat meals in the oven, on the stove, or using an Instant Pot, crockpot, or air fryer. * No allergies, but Jen is officially “chickened and soup‑ed out” after being sick, so alternatives are appreciated. * They’re eating carefully, so meals with limited red meat are especially helpful. * If cooking isn’t ideal, gift cards (grocery stores, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc.) or thoughtful items like snack bags are also wonderful options. Thank you so much for supporting Jen during this stretch—every contribution truly makes a difference. We’re happy to coordinate any logistics or meal hand‑offs.
