Barcley’s Family Support

Colorado Springs, CO

W
Story

If you have the privilege of knowing anyone in the Myers/Roberts family, you know how truly remarkable people they are. They are the kind of family who show up for others without hesitation, they are accepting, and make everyone around them feel loved and valued. The loss of Barcley is impossible to measure. Brinkley didn't just lose her husband—she lost her soulmate, her partner, and the person she envisioned growing old beside. Their children lost a devoted father, and an entire community lost someone who made it better simply by being part of it. As Brinkley and the kids begin the unimaginable journey of navigating life without Barcley, we want to surround them with practical support in the months ahead. Rather than a traditional meal train, this page will serve as a way to help meet their evolving needs as they adjust to a new reality. Through this page, Brinkley may share requests for groceries, school lunch items, help with household projects, childcare support, self-care needs, or other day-to-day necessities that arise along the way. If you are able, please consider helping this incredible family in whatever way you can. No gesture is too small. Every act of kindness will help lighten the load as they face the difficult road ahead and learn to carry this tremendous loss together.

Special Notes

Other family favorites include Scheels, Dick's Sporting Goods, Chick-fil-A, and Smoothie King. Please be mindful of the family's need for privacy and space during this difficult time. Gift cards may be left in the milk box by the door or sent electronically via email. This allows them to receive support while respecting their need for quiet and time together. Brinkley is deeply grateful for the incredible outpouring of love, support, prayers, and encouragement. At the same time, she is carrying an unimaginable amount of grief and responsibility. Please understand that she may not be able to respond to messages, calls, or gestures right away. Your patience, understanding, and continued support mean more than you know.
