Friends, I’m asking our community to come together in love and support for Steve and Judy during a very difficult season. Steve’s Parkinson’s disease has been progressing quickly, and Judy is carrying so much as she continues to work full time while also caring for Steve each day. To help ease the burden a little, I’ve started a meal train so they don’t have to worry about preparing meals. Something as simple as dropping off dinner can give Judy a moment to breathe and focus on caring for Steve. Scripture reminds us in Galatians 6:2 to “carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” This is a small way we can live that out and surround this sweet couple with the love of Christ. If you’re able to sign up to bring a meal, it would mean so much to them. And if you’re not able to cook, please keep Steve and Judy lifted in your prayers.
