💗 Standing With Bobbie: Help Her Fight Breast Cancer For those who know Bobbie L. Alexander, you know she is usually the person helping everyone else. Today, her friends are asking you to help us take care of her. Bobbie is a devoted single mother who is facing breast cancer while raising her family without family support nearby in Colorado. She is also incredibly private, independent, and the kind of person who never wants to burden anyone else. Asking for help does not come easily to her—which is why we, her friends, are asking on her behalf. The past year has brought one difficult challenge after another for Bobbie. Just when she thought she was finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, in June 2026, she received the devastating news that she was battling breast cancer. Her journey has already included multiple surgeries and procedures, including a lymph node biopsy, lumpectomy, reconstruction, and the removal of a lipoma. Her treatment journey has also included radiation, medical appointments, testing, recovery, and the physical and emotional toll that comes with hearing the words “you have cancer.” And through all of this, Bobbie is still a mom. She is still trying to care for her children, maintain her household, work when she is able, attend appointments, recover from surgeries, manage treatment, and somehow find enough strength to make it through each day. No one should have to carry all of that alone. Cancer takes an enormous toll physically and emotionally, but the financial impact can be just as overwhelming. Medical expenses are only part of the burden. There are groceries, meals, transportation, household expenses, help around the home, time away from work, and countless unexpected costs that arise while someone is undergoing treatment and recovering from surgery. That is where we can come together. If you are able, please consider supporting Bobbie and her family during the months ahead. No contribution is too small, and support does not have to be financial. You can help by contributing financially; providing a meal or restaurant/grocery gift card; helping with errands or light household tasks; sending a thoughtful card, Bible verse, prayer, or encouraging message; or simply checking in and reminding Bobbie that she is not walking through this journey alone. Every meal provided is one less thing she has to worry about. Every donation helps ease the financial pressure. Every prayer provides encouragement. Every act of kindness reminds her that there is a community standing beside her. Bobbie has spent so much of her life serving, advocating for, encouraging, and showing up for others. Now is our opportunity to show up for her. Our hope is to give Bobbie the space to focus on what matters most right now: healing, fighting cancer, and being present for her children. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with your family, friends, church, colleagues, and community. Sharing her story is also a beautiful way to help. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving Bobbie, praying for her, supporting her children, and surrounding this family during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Together, we can remind Bobbie that although this is her fight, she does not have to fight it alone. Thank you for every prayer, every meal, every donation, every message, and every act of love. God bless you. 💗
