Chen launched Table23 in 2012 as a way to support community nonprofit organizations. Beginning with Koi Fine Asian Cuisine & Lounge in Evanston, Chen expanded the program, making it available at French Mediterranean restaurant, Le Sud, in Roscoe Village. When guests make a reservation at any of these restaurants and request Table23, Chen will donate 23 percent of the diners’ bill to the local charity of the month. Each restaurant supports a different nonprofit in its community, and to date, Chen has assisted in raising thousands of dollars to help nonprofits gain exposure, grow and attain necessary funds to create a better community.   During the COVID-19 period of time, funds will support Table23 Foundation to buy food for hospital staff, homeless shelters, industry workers, community low income Households, and much more.   Thank you for your generosity!
