Hi everyone! We've created this page to be an all-in-one place for our care needs during the first month of baby Henry's life. We are not afraid of asking for help and telling you all that we really need it! With a new baby we have learned that it's so hard to know what to expect. Some newborns are really easy- some newborns are really really hard. Sometimes recovery for mom is harder. You never know what you're going to get! So we appreciate any help during this time of huge transition for our family. Whether it's taking Oliver and Charlie to the park or hanging out with them for a while so mom and dad can get some rest, bringing us a meal, helping with dishes or laundry or cleaning, or holding the baby so mom can get a shower- anything helps! Even 30 minutes of your time.
We welcome any guests that are here to help, just call or text first! Please no sick visitors. Dietary restrictions: Wesley is sensitive to garlic so please go easy on the garlic or leave it out! As a family we generally eat gluten free, but we do eat homemade sourdough (store-bought sourdough is not true sourdough- it isn't fermented it's made with yeast so it's not the same health wise!) Charlie is dairy free, otherwise we all love dairy! Some ideas that we would love postpartum: soup, crockpot meals, any baked goods sweetened with honey, quiche/egg bakes, hard boiled eggs and protein snacks like that, the boys love simple mills crackers. We have a lot of meals with rice and veggies and a meat!
