My boyfriend and I have been struggling for years, trying our hardest to build a better life for ourselves despite the many hardships we have faced. We have dealt with difficult family situations, financial struggles, and so many obstacles that have made it hard for us to get back on our feet. No matter how many times we try to start over and make things better, it feels like we keep getting knocked back down. We both want a peaceful, stable life where we can be happy together without constantly worrying about money, family conflict, or how we are going to make it through the next day. Unfortunately, we currently live in a toxic household where we don’t feel supported in our relationship. Instead of having people around us who encourage us and want to see us succeed, we often feel alone and unwelcome. We cannot turn to the people around us for help because we have tried, and that support simply isn’t there. On top of everything else, I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my baby boy on August 29, 2026. Losing him has brought so much sadness into my life during a time when we were already struggling. It is a pain that is difficult to put into words, and trying to cope with that loss while dealing with our everyday hardships has been incredibly difficult. My boyfriend has also lost his job after missing work, and his car has been broken down for months. Without a working vehicle, finding and getting to a new job has become even more difficult for him. We want to work, improve our circumstances, and become independent, but right now we feel stuck in a situation that we are struggling to escape. We are not asking for a luxurious life or anything extravagant. We are simply hoping for a chance to breathe, get something to eat, take care of our basic needs, and slowly work toward a better future. Even something as small as a grocery gift card, a meal, or a little financial assistance could make a meaningful difference for us right now. It is hard to ask strangers for help, especially when we have spent so long trying to figure everything out on our own. But sometimes we have to admit when things have become too difficult to manage alone. We are trying not to lose hope that things can get better for us. Our most urgent need right now is food and groceries. A small grocery gift card or a meal would help us get through this difficult time and take some of the weight off our shoulders while we try to figure out our next steps. Any help with food or other basic necessities would mean more to us than we can explain. If you are able to offer any support, no matter how small, we would be genuinely grateful. If you cannot donate, simply sharing our story or keeping us in your thoughts would mean a lot, too. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for showing kindness to two people who are trying their best to find their way through a difficult season of life.
