Thanks to enhanced early screening I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in May 2026. The prognosis is excellent, and I am optimistic about making a full recovery. I'm very grateful that this was discovered at a very early stage and that I have access to quality medical care close to home. At the same time, Gleb is dealing with his own unexpected medical challenges. He spent four days at the hospital in mid-June while doctors began to investigate a mysterious cavity that was discovered in his lung after a CT scan, along with failed blood thinner treatment from a serious blood clot diagnosed in March. We are hopeful for good outcomes on both fronts, but having both of these situations happen at the same time has created additional stress and logistical challenges for our family.
