Randi's Fracture Friends

Story

Hello friends of Randi Hokett! My name is Amber and Im setting this page up in order to give support and aid to the one and only Miss Randi. If you didn't know, late last week Randi had a serious injury that needed immediate surgery. Not one to ever do anything half assed Randi not only broke her ankle but also broke her tibia AND dislocated her foot and ripped the tendons that hold the whole shebang together. She accomplished this daring feat by falling down a flight of stairs. She had emergency surgery on Saturday and was finally released from the Hospital this past Tuesday, August 11th. The surgeon told Randi that she is not to put ANY weight on her foot for at least 8 weeks. She is currently in soft bandages and will hopefully see the surgeon in a few weeks to have an actual cast put on her leg. Right now she is confined to bed rest. She will most likely be out of work for the next three or four months and will need varying levels of support throughout this time. Her acute needs right now center around visits and food. Because her bedroom (aka recovery area) is located upstairs, it is nearly impossible for her to go downstairs. So getting deliveries, etc isn't great unless there is someone there to receive it and bring it upstairs for her. If you want to put yourself down on the calendar for a visit or for food, please block out the time. She is generally up around 8:30 am right now, so I would start scheduling after 9am.

Special Notes

Randi is special and can't have eggplant or onions... she is also lactose intolerant so please keep that in mind with any meals you bring/make etc.
