Help Me Start Over: From Surviving to Thriving If you're reading this, thank you for taking a moment to hear my story. Your kindness and compassion mean more than I can express. Life has humbled me in ways I never imagined. I live each day with lupus, fibromyalgia, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and colitis. These illnesses have taken a tremendous toll on my health, my independence, and my ability to work. Every day is different, and many days are filled with pain, exhaustion, and uncertainty. Through it all, I have been blessed with my son, Lamar, who has become my caregiver. He stands beside me every day, helping me through the challenges that my illnesses bring. I am incredibly grateful for his love and support, but the financial burden we face has become overwhelming. Today, I am asking for help because we are in danger of losing our home. We need assistance with our rent to prevent eviction and keep a safe place to live while I continue fighting for my health and our future. As difficult as this season has been, I refuse to let it define the rest of my life. I still have dreams. I still have purpose.
