For over 27 years, Darlene has been part of the heart of Lake Monroe Hospital. She has supported countless patients, families, nurses, physicians, and staff with kindness, loyalty, and compassion. Right now, she and her family need that same support in return. Overnight, Darlene’s son was involved in a serious motorcycle accident and is currently in the ICU. Our hospital family has come together to help support Darlene and her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. This page was created to help coordinate support for Darlene and her family so they can focus on being together during this time. Thank you for loving and supporting one of our own the same way she has cared for so many others over the years. Every meal, snack, prayer, message, and act of kindness means more than words can express.
To give the family some privacy and a quiet place away from the waiting room, we have arranged for them to stay in Room 378 while remaining close to his bedside. As many of you can imagine, long days and nights in the hospital quickly create additional needs including meals, snacks, drinks, toiletries, and gift cards for essentials.
