I came across a post in a local mom group of a woman’s heartwarming story of the journey to her first child. As a mother who got very ill after the birth of my first born, I know how much meal train’s really do help in transitional times. I’m asking for the communities help to ease their transition and take one less task off of their plate. Please read. “ Hello fellow west valley moms! Hey ladies 💛 I’m newer to the area, we moved to Avondale in mid January, and I’m having my first baby via c-section this Tuesday, May 12th, at Banner Estrella. To be completely honest, life has been really hard lately. Since moving here, it feels like we’ve hit one roadblock after another. We moved to the valley to be closer to family before the baby arrived, because when we lived in Iowa we had zero support system nearby. Right now I’m the main source of income while my husband is between jobs, and with all the changes that came with moving and preparing for a baby, we’ve had to let go of a lot of things that were really important to me during pregnancy and postpartum. The biggest heartbreak for me has honestly been giving up the idea of newborn/fresh 48 photos. A little backstory… this baby is incredibly special to us. This is my second marriage after losing my first husband in 2022. During my first marriage, we tried for 15 years to have a child with no success. My husband Andrew and I also went through months of fertility treatments before eventually stepping back and trying to trust God’s timing. We adopted a puppy in September, and one week later I found out I was pregnant with our sweet Mollie. 🤍 Truly the biggest blessing and miracle of my life. “
