As many of you know (or maybe you don’t) Craig has been bravely fighting his cancer for just over two years now. As with any illness, it has been a roller coaster of a ride! We’ve had ups and downs and lots of cases in which we have had to pivot his care. We are at a pivot point! Starting August 26th, Craig will begin radiation treatments daily for the next six weeks. Being a teacher who is beginning a new school year, the timing is not the greatest! Anyone who knows me also knows it is not easy for me to ask for help, but here I am reaching out. Because of his daily treatment at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor and my inflexible schedule and limited time off, I am asking for help with rides for Craig to get him back and forth to his appointments. His treatment only lasts about thirty minutes and then he is able to go home. There are a few days that he also has a doctor’s visit right after his treatment.
