Hey, Family! I’m excited to share that I have accepted a new position at Texas A&M! This opportunity is truly the entry point into my dream career, and I am experiencing a beautiful mixture of excitement, gratitude, nervousness, and awe as I prepare for this new chapter. The transition has been a whirlwind. Although I originally planned to move on September 10, I was unable to reach an agreement with my current apartment complex and must now relocate this week. Everything is happening incredibly quickly, but even amid the stress, I remain deeply grateful for this opportunity. Many of you have graciously asked how you can support me. More than anything, I welcome your prayers as I make this transition. If you are available locally, I would also greatly appreciate help loading the moving truck on Wednesday or Thursday. Because my relocation assistance is reimbursement-based, I must cover all moving expenses upfront. At this point, meal support, restaurant or grocery gift cards, and monetary contributions would be especially helpful. If you feel led to contribute, my Cash App is $SydneyGCarroll. I am also working to organize a meal train once I receive the welcome packet and final delivery information from my new apartment—that is how quickly everything has unfolded! Although I am moving to Texas, I will continue teaching at UNC Charlotte and will always remain connected and available to my friends, family, sisters in scholarship, and community. Thank you for celebrating with me, praying for me, and loving me through this major life transition. I appreciate each of you more than I can express. With love and gratitude, Sydney G. Carroll
