Ms. Kelsey and Family

Concord TWP., OH

Story

Ms. Kelsey had been experiencing flu symptoms and a high fever for many days in a row. She did a virtual visit and was told it was a virus and needed to run its course. She continued to not get any better so went to an urgent care. They told her the same, it was a virus and needed to run its course. Sunday she decided it was time to go to the emergency room. They ran some tests and found she has a perforation in her appendix. This caused a baseball sized abyss to form and become infected. Her flu symptoms and fever are due to this infection. Today Monday 9/15 they performed a procedure to add a drain in her abdomen to start to drain the infection. She will have this drain for some time and will start strong antibiotics. Once the infection clears she will need her apex removed. With 3 children at home this has been very hard on Kelsey and her husband. We would love to ease the stress on them and help them not have to worry about dinner.

Special Notes

They are not picky! Family of 5 with 3 children.
