My Nanny has had a very rough few months, and unfortunately, we are going to lose her soon. It has been weeks of multiple procedures and pain— all in hopes to prolong her life and gain some quality of life. My mom, Christine, and my Papaw, Sonny, have not left my Nanny’s side since we took her to the hospital almost two weeks ago, with one more attempt to save her. While we didn’t get the outcome we were wishing and praying for, we are thankful to have these last moments with her to prepare. Due to the constant, running back-and-forth, as well as many sleepless nights… I’m asking that you all help my family out, with providing a little relief through love and food. It’s just one less thing my mom or my Papaw will have to worry about in the days to come. We know that the journey isn’t over, and we have a lot of grieving to do. I will update the page after she passes with her funeral arrangements… Thank all of you for showing my mom love in a time where she has been nothing but loving and strong for everyone else. Thank you for showing my Papaw that he has a community, even though he is losing the love of his life. And, lastly, thank you for helping me, help them.
