Yaquelins Appreciation

Hello everyone I am Edgar, I am the younger brother of Yaquelin. Reason for creating this page is because of who my sister is. My sister is going to turn 25 next month in may and wanted to share her story. Ever since we were younger and having the best time of our lives as kids my older sister would always be there for me. My sister is the type of person you can a genuine laugh and rely on. My sister always tries to have a smile everyday but of course life can happen. Ever since the start of everything our family was never really a high income. My sisters dream was to be in a big nice university but since our family wasn’t not really the type to have money it was a struggle. My sister ended up saving money to go to UNT but still did not have enough so that’s where as a family we tried our best for her. Our parents let her borrow their own car which was the only reliable car we had. Around when she was in college her car broke down. Money was a huge issue for us so her car has been sitting untouched for years. After she graduated she had to borrow our parents truck which has issues and we do not have enough to fix everything. Now the reason for all of this being made is because my sister would always help our family. She would always help out with me and my homework while she would study for hours until the AM the next morning. She would always help our parents through personal matters while she worked and had stuff to do. My sister has taught not just me but my parents as well as fellow family members about stuff we struggled with. As well as our dog having a skin allergy condition we would not have enough to pay the bills. That’s where she would have to sacrifice her credit card. Even tho my sister would always try to find a way to help she never once gave up and thought she couldn’t. As of today 4/20/26 her car is still not working. Our parents truck still has a lot of issues. As much as it saddens me the way she sacrificed a lot of stuff to make us happy, successful, and knowledge. I know deep down my sister has doubts. Her dream is to have the car of her dreams. A Toyota Camry XSE 2024. Obviously while I am still 19 years old I cannot afford that neither can our family.
