Over the past several weeks, life has changed very quickly for Mom and Walt. Since Walt’s diagnosis, they’ve been navigating frequent appointments and treatments, many of them more than 40 minutes from home. On top of everything that comes with a new cancer diagnosis, they recently had to say goodbye to their beloved Bear and have also been dealing with other unexpected costs. A lot of people have asked how they can help. Mom would probably never be comfortable asking for anything herself, so we wanted to create a place where the people who love them can help make some of the everyday things a little easier. Gift cards for gas, groceries, meals, and everyday necessities are especially helpful right now. After long days of appointments, something as simple as being able to grab dinner on the way home or not having to think about the cost of another tank of gas can make a real difference. There is absolutely no expectation to contribute. Messages, prayers, check-ins, and simply continuing to love and support them mean just as much. We are incredibly grateful for the people surrounding them during this season. ❤️
