Our friend, Camille, has been struggling with homelessness for several months, and we would like to get them to safety with us. They have been staying in a shelter, but have been told they only have two weeks left available to stay there. We would like to go down and get them, their cat and their things so they can stay with us, but unfortunately our car's brakes are currently metal on metal and unsafe for us to make the drive from NY to NC. We have been quoted $750 to repalce the brakes, and as soon as those are fixed we can go get Camille. We're asking for $1500 for the brakes, food, gas, and a little wiggle room for anything they would need for here in New York, like winter clothes or other necessities. But the most important thing is the $750 for the brakes so we can get that taken ASAP to get Camille. Thank you for any help!
