On October 14th my Mom, Gina Ponessa fell and fractured her left femur, destroyed the knee replacement in that leg, as well as fracturing her right foot. She had surgery on October 16th and then got transferred to rehab on October 23rd. She can't do any weight-bearing and cannot bend her leg in any way. She is wearing a leg immobilizer and is using a wheelchair to get around. In addition to these injuries, she has ongoing issues with my back, hips, and rotator cuff in her shoulders. She lives alone and despite all of this, insurance says she is ready to go home. Any help at all with lunch, dinner or just company would be greatly appreciated!
