Celebrating our Boys

W
Story

We’re planning a major family road trip for our two boys, ages 8 and 3, and we’re so excited to give them an experience they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. ❤️ Our oldest has ADHD and dyslexia, and he has been working his little heart out this year—putting in so much extra effort to close learning gaps and catch up in school. We couldn’t be prouder of how hard he has worked. More than anything, we want to reward that perseverance by giving him a chance to put the schoolwork aside, take a breath, and just enjoy being a kid. And then there’s our 3-year-old, who is at that magical age where the world is still full of WOW! I can already picture his eyes lighting up when he sees new places, animals, mountains, huge landmarks, and all the exciting things we’ll discover along the way. 🥹 As parents, we want to slow down and soak it all in—their laughter, their excitement, their questions, the “WHOA, LOOK AT THAT!” moments, and all the little memories that we know we’ll treasure forever. The majority of our trip is already paid for, so we are incredibly grateful to be in a position to make this adventure happen. ❤️ We’re simply hoping to raise a little extra to give us some emergency/travel cushion along the way and, most importantly, to let the boys have a little spending money of their own. We want them to be able to see something that makes them say, “Mom, Dad, can I get this?” and actually be able to bring a little piece of their adventure home with them. Whether it’s a souvenir, a special toy, a cool rock, a stuffed animal, or something they find along the way that becomes part of the story they tell for years—we want them to have that experience. 🥰 This trip isn’t just about going somewhere. It’s about celebrating how hard our boys have worked, giving them an adventure, spending uninterrupted time together as a family, and making memories that will last a lifetime. If you’d like to contribute, any amount—big or small—would mean so much to our family. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing our fundraiser or simply cheering us on means just as much. ❤️ Thank you for helping us give our boys a little adventure, a lot of joy, and memories they can carry with them for years to come. Here’s to seeing the world through their eyes. 🌎💙✨
