Loving the Jaramillo Family - Bob, Becky, and Andrew

Whittier, CA

Story

Hello Everyone, This meal train has been started to show our love and the love of God to the Jaramillo Family, because, as you know, they are going through a season of heartache as they mourn the loss of their beloved Ashley. Please show your love to them through signing up to provide a meal (or meals) for them. This meal train will start Thursday, April 10th and will end Sunday, May18th. In addition, please remember that your prayers are the greatest expression of love and support that you can offer them. That being said, Pray, Pray, Pray! Please be in prayer that God would protect them from the enemy's schemes to try to bring them down in moments of vulnerability. And also pray that God would saturate the whole family with His presence, pouring out His love on them that they may experience His comfort, love, healing, and even His peace that surpasses understanding. Thank you all for joining us in showing our love and support to this family that we all love so much!!!

Special Notes

Here are some details to help with the process: As you are looking at the calendar for a day or days to provide a meal for the Jaramillos, remember that the meal train will start Thursday, April 10th and will end Sunday, May18th. Also, generally speaking they typically eat around 5pm. Another thing to consider: if you are dropping off a meal, it would be helpful to text them with a general time you think you might be dropping by, so they can plan their day accordingly. For those who would like to visit Bob and Becky when you drop off the food: due to the rollercoaster of emotions that Bob and Becky are experiencing from one day to another, although they generally love to accept visitors, if you are wanting to visit them when you drop off the food, please text them first and ask them if they are feeling like having visitors on that specific day. If they respond expressing that they are not open to having visitors, please do not be offended and please understand that the grieving process they are going through is complex and that on certain days they are simply not going to be up for having visitors. It doesn't mean they don't love you and it doesn't mean they are not appreciative. It just means they need some alone time. I know you all understand. Also, Bob and Becky wanted me {Pastor Johny) to convey that they are SOOOOO thankful for this expression of love! After letting them know that we were starting a meal train for them, their exact words were that they are “so grateful" and “deeply touched.” Lastly, on behalf of the Jaramillos and myself, thank you all for showing your love to Bob and Becky, as the family of God!
