Team McGarvey is growing!!! We are so beyond thrilled and cannot wait to introduce this little one to all of the people we love. Right now, we have two showers planned — one in Maryland on May 24 and one in Dallas on June 20 — and we are so excited to celebrate with our people in both places. (We did the math, and if baby goes through 3,000 diapers Year 1, we can expect to spend $9,975-10,500 just in diapers!!!) This website is also the best place to stay connected for updates regarding Shannon’s labor and baby’s arrival. For those who join us at the hospital, Connor will reveal the gender in the lobby of Baylor Medical in Dallas with either a pink or blue flag. 🤍 Shannon’s due date is July 13th, but she is praying the baby comes a week early since we fully expect a BIG BABY!!! We also fully welcome placing your bets on the gender at the showers. We have selectively chosen not to include baby clothes on our registry because we intend to get these second hand to focus on purchasing essentials and because we are announcing the gender the day the baby arrives 🩵💕🙌🏼. Once Shannon has had a little time to heal and settle in, we would love to have everyone over to our home in Dallas to celebrate and introduce our firstborn. Lynn and Connor will also be helping keep Give In Kind updated as news comes along, so that will be the best place to check in. And once baby is here, if you’d like to love us practically, you can sign up through the meal train to bring food, stop by, and meet baby. We love you all so much and are truly so grateful for your love, support, and excitement alongside us in this sweet season.
