Hi everyone. Clarisse is having surgery on ____. Clarisse was nervous to make this page for support but so many of you have asked how you can help, that we decided to make this page. And honestly, the planning/calendar here will be very helpful for Tommy, Clarisse's main caregiver. While many of you have offered to cook, we will mainly need help with, taking care of Clarisse, walking Mila and some occasional grocery shopping while Tommy is at work out of the house. If you would like to support in other ways, there are some options for gift cards as Clarisse will not have an income for 6 weeks. Or you can send your favorite TV show, movie recommendations or a postcard in the mail! Anyways if you are visiting this page thank you for your love and support.
Clarisse has celiac disease. While we appreciate many of you offering to cook meals, something as small as cross contamination with a cutting board can make Clarisse very sick, which is why we have not done a meal train. If you feel comfortable cooking celiac safe (washing appropriate material and checking labels which includes verifying that the label does not state “processed in a facility that also processes wheat”) then we will gladly take a home cooked meal. You can also volunteer to cook at our house in some of the slots that Tommy will be out. Clarisse is also allergic to mushrooms and cantelope and does not eat eggs or chocolate. Vegetarian is preferred.
