We are so honored to have so many joining us on this journey, and felt it was time to provide an overall update for those who may be new to this page. Right now, life is lived a moment at a time. Not in long-term plans, but in appointments, in small wins, and in the space between hope and fear. Since rushing to Cleveland and weeks spent at Cleveland Clinic, Mac’s world has become filled with specialists, tests, travel, and waiting — our hearts have learned how to live with both courage and uncertainty. To be brave and bold. We know that Mac is facing a rare neuromuscular disease. What we don’t yet have is a clear picture of how we can best help Mac have the best quality of life. We are still in that in-between space, where his team is searching for answers and every new test carries both possibility and worry. The world keeps spinning, but ours often feels like it pauses around clinic visits, phone calls, portal messages, and exhaustion. And still, Mac is still Mac—brave, funny, and deeply loved—and we are still here, fighting for answers and for the fullest life we can give him. This page exists because we can’t do this alone. Thank you for being our village, for loving Mac, and for walking with us through this—one moment, one step, and one breath at a time. #WeCanDoHardThings
