Update 7/27/2025: Thank you to everyone who has donated and offered support. We are stopping donations, but the page will stay up and active for a bit so please feel free to still leave a message here. Will be updating when we have more information about the services for Steve. Thank you again — Allie Steve Gilbert is currently on hospice care, and his wife Sara, and daughters Lauren and Allie are spending as much time with him as possible during this difficult time. As they focus on supporting Steve and each other, we’re setting up a meal train to help lighten the load. To help ease the day-to-day, we’ve set up a meal train for the Gilbert family. Meals that can be frozen and easily reheated are especially appreciated or restaurant pickup/delivery is welcome. Anything convenient and low effort for the family is helpful. Supportive notes or messages are always appreciated, and they are reading them to Steve every day when he is awake. Depending on the day, occasional help with childcare may also be useful for the grandkids. If you have questions about meal or grocery deliveries, please reach out to Allie or Lauren directly.
