Love for Vickie is being done to support her and my dad during their journey of Vickie starting chemo Monday, Aug 18th. As you all know, in early June Vickie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer metastasized to the Liver. At first they weren't going to let her do chemo after the brief illness in early June. However, she was feeling pretty good at the end of July. So her medical team agreed recently to let her give it a shot if she wanted. As most of you know she is my dads primary caregiver as well. She is just not going to give up. As she keeps telling us all over and over... She is a tough ole "bird" and she is going to keep fighting! My sister and I both work full time jobs and are caring for our parents during these trying times and would greatly appreciate your support. Let's show them the love to get them through these hard times ahead in the coming days!
