The Smith Family is spearheading a multi-generational homestead startup and education center with the help of the community, family and friends. We want to serve as a place for animals, vegetation and humans alike to co-exist in harmony. A safe space for all. Curiosity & Kindness is a registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit so all monetary and time donations are considered tax donations. You will also benefit from the fruit of your labor by way of produce, trail rides, fishing, swimming, etc. Currently we have a large swimming pool, smoker, 6 riding mules (with ample trails), raised, regular and hydro garden beds, and a small to medium size orchard. Future plans include canning, dehydrating, sewing classes, pickling, jarring, agro raising processes, field rotations, eco barn raising, water conservation, off-grid energy, chickens, goats, ducks, pigs, small dairy cows, additional vegetable gardens, a flower cutting field, fishing pond, camping area, etc. If there's something you've been wanting to put to practice: we'll make room for it. If there's something you've been wanting to learn: we'll learn it (or teach if we know it already). This is a tremendous opportunity for community gardening, friendship, and more.
