Wife, mom, teacher and friend Jenna Patrick learned on July 1st that she has breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma. She is scheduled to have lumpectomy surgery on July 22, followed by chemo and radiation. Her breast cancer, on the heels of a multi-fracture ankle & foot reconstruction surgery last year and cervical cancer the year before, is earth shattering for Jenna and her family. They’ve been through so much already! Jenna’s big worry since her diagnosis, along with her husband & 2 sons, was her students. She begged doctors to do her surgery early, so she could ensure that she’s there for her students when school starts. That’s just who Jenna is: always caring for and worrying about others.
