Meal Train in support of Dawn Lee’s fight against Breast Cancer 💪🏼

Dunn, NC

Story

Hello everyone! As I’m sure most of you know, Monday, July 8th, Dawn was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer. This was devastating news for her, her family and everyone who knows and loves her. The news was not good at all, however, she had a breast MRI done on Wednesday, July 10th and Praise God, the cancer is contained! In her words and I know many others agree, “Praise be to God that prayers have been answered and doors have been opened!”  She will have a long road ahead. This fight is a big one. BUT...God is good ALL the time! Those of you that know Dawn, know she is a fighter. She has already beat this horrible cancer in the past and we see first hand day in and day out the courage and strength she puts forth for her own family’s health. She is going to fight this and this page is a place for us to come together and help make her fight a little bit easier. If you aren’t familiar with a meal train, it is basically a sign up sheet that allows us to sign up for dates and times to take Dawn and Brent meals while she begins this fight against breast cancer. These meals will take a huge weight off of her and will be one less thing for her to worry about as she endures surgery and chemo treatments. Please keep Dawn and her family in your prayers in the days ahead. We know first hand that God's love shines the brightest during the darkest of times! Thank you all so much for wanting to help and participate! I will be adding more details about the meal train in the upcoming day’s once I get more info from Maegan. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have and I will get back with you ASAP. You can call or text me at 910-891-8735. If I don’t answer please leave a voicemail with your name and number and I will call you back ASAP. Or you can message me on here or through Facebook messenger.  Thank you all, Lindsay Peregoy

Special Notes

Due to Covid-19, and Dawn’s immune system being weaker due to chemo, we ask that when you deliver meals, please drop them off at the door. Also, if you could bring the meals in containers that do not have to be returned or are disposable. We also ask that you please be sanitary when making meals and if you are sick or have any symptoms and are signed up to make a meal just let us know and we can take your name off the list for that day. Take out/delivered meals from restaurants are also encouraged. Maegan will be getting me a list of their favorite meals and places to eat, and I will add those ASAP. Thank you all again for your love and kindness.
